Summer Spritzer


Can absolutely quench your thirst!

I like to make refreshing fruit water when my fruit is just about to go bad, and I won’t be able to eat it.  For this particular recipe, I used Diet 7 Up, stawberries that were overripe, one peach, and fresh lime juice.  You can use any fruit for the ‘base’ and then add any liquid you like such as club soda, 7 Up, green tea, or just water.

{Summer Spritzer}

5-6 very ripe strawberries

1 peach

1 lime

14-16 ounces Diet 7 Up

Chop up your fruit of choice and toss in with the juice of one lime.

Next, muddle the fruit until you do not have any more big pieces of fruit.  Split the fruit base between two glasses and top with the soda.  It will fizz up!

Stir and garnish with lime!  I like to add a few ice cubes to keep it extra cold.  You can…
