New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to take part, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

Crema de Fruta

 Ingredients:

  • 2 medium size egg
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can fruit cocktail
  • 1 sachet of powdered unflavored gelatin
  • 1 pack M.Y. San Graham crackers
  • 2 cups of water

How To?

  1. Combine the condensed milk and egg in a bowl and stir until well mixed. Set Aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, put the 2 cups of water and add powdered gelatin. Stir well. Bring the mixture to a near boil and pour in the egg and milk mixture. Stir well and simmer until the mixture thickens lightly like a cream.
  3. Arrange 6 M.Y. San Grahams (dipped in the fruit cocktail syrup) on the bottom on an 8-inch square pan. Spread half of the cream mixture evenly on top of the crackers. Top it with fruit cocktail. Repeat this step.
  4. Let it cool for a while and put in the fridge. Chill and serve. Enjoy!
